The belev method is based on a three month window of change, it is based on the menstrual cycle and how women benefit from at least three cycles of mind body focus. The essence of detox and corporal movement to reintegrate the mechanisms that are naturally employed by our bodies to send out the necessary hormones. It all starts in the brain and works itself inward, downward, and outward. With two systems in play, the central nervous system and hypothalamic-hypophyseal system, of which GNRH (gonadotropic releasing hormone) is secreted and the hormonal orchestra begins to play. Let’s discuss the process, the central nervous system, then the endocrine glands (anterior pituitary), moving to the gonadotropins (FSH/LSH) to the ovaries and finally the stimulation estrogen.
Women have hormonal cycles until menopause, the female reproductive cycle is divided into four phases, this is referred to as the menstrual cycle. It is regulated by the brain, hypothalamus, pituitary, ovaries and uterus. Communication must take place within each other to stimulate or quiet the orchestra. The two main instruments or gonadotropic hormones that take place here are FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) and LH (luteinizing hormone). FSH stimulates the follicles to be developed in the ovary, ovulation, and secretion of estrogens. LH stimulates the maturing follicle before its launch. FSH is released first, then LH with FSH will lead to the development of the corpus luteum.
The ovary, under the song and dance of FSH and LH will secrete estrogen and progesterone. The ovarian cycle will then consist of follicular phase, ovulation, and the luteal phase. When you are born, each ovary contains about 400,000 oocytes. By the time of puberty 30,000 follicles will remain for the next 30 years of ovarian activity from the onset of puberty to menopause. Each month, one egg will mature within a follicle each month for a total of about 300-400 eggs during the reproductive years.
The luteal phase, occurs after ovulation, the area where the egg ruptured changes, and now termed the corpus luteum. This then leads to the corpus albicans. Now, if conception occurs the corpus luteum the corpus luteum will sustain the pregnancy for 4 months, until the placenta takes over. If pregnancy does not occur, the postovulatory phase of the menstrual cycles is contolled by the corpus luteum for about two weeks.
Then we come to the endometrial cycle, this directly applies to the cells lining the uterus. This cycles correspond directly with what is occuring in the ovary. There are three phases the proliferative, secretory, and ischemic (actual menstruation). If pregnancy does not occur, the death of the corpus luteum results in decreased levels of progesterone and estrogen. This happens around 22-28 day of the menstrual cycle. And this results in deterioration of the endometrium which passes through the vagina. This allows the cycle to occur once again, on a monthlly basis with freshlining for the possibility of conception in the future.
I have personally created this twelve week course to bring together all the necessary steps to help you hit the reset button. We begin by discussing our initial goals and past medical history, journaling and combining real time metrics with dietary interventions and exercise. Therefore, by moving in consortium with our natural hormonal flux, the be-‘lev method help you move in sync to recreate the natural diva in you to a more radiant, healthy, glowing, mindful woman. Turn the magic on.
